Customer support deflection
AI customer support automation
An agent that answers the same 20 questions your team retypes every day, and escalates only what actually needs a human.
The problem
Look at last month's tickets and sort them by subject. A large share will be the same handful of questions — where is my order, what is your return window, do you deliver to my pin code. Your team retypes those answers every single day, which means the genuinely difficult tickets wait behind them.
Most repeat tickets never reach a person.
Built for: Teams drowning in “where is my order”, refund and policy questions.
What we deliver
Answers from your own facts. The agent reads your policy documents, past resolved tickets and live order data. Answers are grounded in those sources, so it can tell a specific customer where their specific order is.
Deflection, not deflection theatre. The goal is a ticket that never opens, not a bot that stalls the customer for two minutes before handing over anyway.
Clean escalation. When it does hand over, your agent gets the full transcript, the customer's order history and a one-line summary — not a cold start.
Any channel you already use. WhatsApp, your website widget, email, or your existing helpdesk. It sits on top of what you run today.
Guardrails you set. You decide what it may promise. Refunds, discounts and anything with money attached can be locked to human approval.
Reporting against one number. Deflection rate and first-response time, measured against your baseline from before we started.
How the build runs
- 1
Baseline first
We export your last few months of tickets and cluster them. If the top questions are not repetitive enough to automate, we tell you so and stop.
- 2
Build and constrain
We ground the agent on your policies and order data, then set the escalation rules — what it may answer alone, and what always goes to a person.
- 3
Run and tune
Live traffic surfaces the gaps no test catches. We read the failures weekly and close them.

Frequently asked questions
- Will it hallucinate our refund policy?
- It answers from your policy documents rather than from general knowledge, and anything it cannot ground in a source becomes an escalation instead of an answer. Money-related promises can be locked to human approval entirely.
- Do we have to replace our helpdesk?
- No. The agent sits in front of whatever you already run — Freshdesk, Zoho, Zendesk, a shared inbox, or WhatsApp — and only creates a ticket when it escalates.
- How much of our volume can realistically be deflected?
- It depends entirely on how repetitive your tickets are, which is why we cluster your history before quoting anything. A business whose top ten questions cover most of its volume gets a very different result from one where every ticket is bespoke.
- What about angry customers?
- Frustration is an escalation trigger. An agent arguing with an upset customer is worse than no agent, so it hands over early and quietly.
