Custom software development

A small team, a narrow first version, shipped in weeks and then steadily improved.

The problem

A vendor quoted you six months and forty pages of requirements. Or a no-code tool almost fits your process, except for the three things that matter most, and every workaround is making the rest harder. Custom software is usually the right answer for a narrower problem than people expect. The wide version — the one with every feature described in the first meeting — is how projects go over budget and never ship. A better approach is to agree on the smallest version worth using, build that first, and let real use tell you what to add. If an existing product already does what you need, we will say so and save you both the money and the wait.

Working software in your hands before the original quote has been forgotten.

Built for: Growing teams who need something built that no off-the-shelf product quite covers.

What we deliver

  • Scope that actually ships. We cut the first version to the smallest thing your team will genuinely use. The rest goes into a backlog, not into the first build.

  • One team across all layers. The same people who write the code review the design and set up the infrastructure. Nothing falls down the gap between sub-contractors.

  • A predictable fee structure. A fixed build fee for the first version, then a monthly fee to run, monitor and improve it. No hourly billing that turns every question into an invoice.

  • Honest fit assessment. We look at whether an existing SaaS, a no-code tool or an AI agent solves the problem before we propose a build. Sometimes the answer is not us.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I start if I do not know what I need?
Tell us the problem, not the solution. We will look at how the work is done today, agree on the narrowest version that makes a real difference, and give you a fixed quote for that. If the problem is not a software problem, we will say so.
How long does a first version take?
Weeks, not months, if the scope is held narrow. The timeline is almost always set by how long it takes to agree on what is in and what is out, not by how long it takes to write the code.
Can you build the AI part and the software part together?
Yes. An agent is only as good as the system it writes into. We design the two together so the agent has clean data to read and a clean place to write its output, rather than bolting an AI feature onto a system that was not built to receive it.
