Voice AI Agent Development

Voice AI agent development

An agent that takes or makes phone calls in Indian languages — built around the real constraints of Indian telephony.

The problem

Your customer calls the number on your packaging. The IVR asks them to press one for Hindi, press two for English, press three for billing. They press three. They wait. They hear hold music for four minutes. They hang up and message you on WhatsApp instead. IVR fatigue is real, and most of the people calling you have experienced the worst version of it from banks and telecom providers. A voice agent that listens, understands what the caller wants and responds in plain Hindi in under two seconds is a different experience. But voice is technically harder than chat, the failure modes are more visible, and there are calls you should not automate — we will tell you which ones before we build.

Calls that used to queue for an available agent get handled the moment they come in.

Built for: Businesses running an inbound call queue or a large outbound reminder and follow-up operation.

What we deliver

  • Indian language support. Hindi and Hinglish at minimum; regional languages depending on your caller base. We test with real speakers and real accents, not synthetic voice samples.

  • Built for real telephony. Network drops, background noise, a caller speaking from a moving auto — the agent handles these without breaking. Response latency is kept low enough that the conversation does not feel unnatural.

  • Inbound and outbound. Inbound for answering queries and capturing information; outbound for reminders, confirmations and collections calls where the conversation is short and structured.

  • Honest about when chat wins. Voice is harder to correct mid-call, more expensive per minute, and slower for anything involving a list or a document. If your use case is better served by WhatsApp or a widget, we will say so and scope that instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does it understand Indian accents?
We test with the actual caller profiles your business gets — regional accents, Hinglish, callers in noisy environments. Before we go live, you run calls yourself on a staging number and tell us what it fumbles. We fix those before the number is live for real customers.
What happens when the agent does not understand the caller?
It asks a clarifying question rather than guessing. If it still cannot handle the call after that, it transfers to a human with the conversation so far noted. An agent that stays on a call it cannot handle makes the customer angrier, not less.
Which kinds of calls are not a good fit for voice AI?
Anything where the answer depends on complex, sensitive judgment — a complaint about a damaged product, a billing dispute, anything where the caller is already upset. Voice agents handle structured, short conversations well. Long emotional calls should go to a human.
